1) Has anyone been to the Tutankhamun exhibition at the O2 Arena? Is it worth going?
2) Nobody will go with me to the exhibition because they either think it's boring or don't want to pay £30 on the train, so.. I'm thinking of going by myself. It won't be hard to get to from Euston Station will it? I'm a bit worried cos I'm 18 and small and defenceless and I get all sorts of weirdos harrassing me in Birmingham when I'm on my own and I'm thinking London will be worse? Reassure me!

Hi everyone,
As part of my application to get my fiance (US citizen) a spousal visa to live in the UK, I need to get a `certified' copy of my UK passport. How might I go about that?
Thanks!

I'm currently in the midst of a dental crisis and am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for dentists and/or dental insurance plans? (I live near the Tottenham Court Road tube)
Also, if anyone has any advice generally about dental services in London (have been living here a while, just never needed a dentist), I'd be grateful. Does NHS cover anything at all or no?
Thanks for any help you can offer :)

My powers of internet searching have failed me today. So i'm asking you lot (o;
Does anyone know the name of the track played in the new radio one advert which is showing in Odeon Cinema's at the moment? Its the one where you get to meet all the DJ's and they tell all the music they play.
I can't find it anywhere )o:

i finally sorted out my wiring enough to get my cd/mp3 head unit fitted in the polo gt, so i then had a spare old blaupunkt tape deck which was just sitting in the garage... until a cunning plan popped into my head: the gt is probably quite easy to break into, and i don't have an alarm or anything like that, and even if i take the faceplate off my shiny stereo (which i always do), it's still obvious that there's some kind of uprated head unit in there. and the faceplate is quite likely to be stored in the glovebox so to an opportunistic chav it's probably worth having a go anyway...
so... i took the blaupunkt apart and removed the fascia, rounded off the corners with a file, cut and filed down the protusions on the back, and glued on the lcd and any controls that weren't actually attached to the fascia. it's made of clear plastic with a black coating, so the filed down bits were now a different colour and i coloured them in with a black marker pen :)
( clicky for piccies )
it's only held in by friction where the edges of the plastic squeeze over the two hooks for the proper faceplate, but that's good enough. to any casual observer it looks just like an old tape deck and it saves me having to run the proper head unit in a remote location (glove box, under the dash, etc). i'm quite tempted to hack up an old cassette and glue it into the slot just to complete the illusion.

I'm a 1st year uni student studying youth and communit work. I'm studying at Leeds Met, but once I finish I want to be working in Nottingham.
The only thing that is stopping me from working there is I have no connections whatsoever.
I do know that I would love to work as either a mentor in a secondary school, young people with substance misuse problems or in the youth offending team.
Now my questions for people of Nottingham or have made that move are:
*How much did you save? I'm going to have to save incase I don't get a job straight away and I need accomodation straight away.
*Where would I look for those type of jobs? (I have looked on the council website but no such luck)
*Where are the cheap areas to live in? I know about Radford boulevard and wouldn't mind living there.
*Any other info I have to take into account.
Thanks

Really don't want this to mean a day off work!
Ignore me, just realised that their site gives me this info, sorry for being a lazy git. I blams Sunday morning! Nice day actually... possibly even BBQ weather....

Akando came from Minnesota on a big jet airplane. He didn't mind the trip as much as the Sun. The desert sun was so hot, he only wanted to lay down in the shade. He had lots of space there to run and play, but mostly just sat on his fuzzy butt, where it was cool. He especially liked the air conditioning vent. He learned all about walks and food and baths, and how to go outside for potty. Then Banshee came to stay and be his sister. At last, somebody to play with and chew on. She was awfully small, but had a bark just like a big puppy. It wasn't even another week before Daddy, Uncle, Banshee and him all moved to Seattle, the land of cool greenery. He likes the cool much better, though the rain takes some getting used to. Now with his adult fur and lanky puppy legs, he can out-pace even his daddy on their daily walks. If only he could get those pesky ears to stand up straight all the time!
